This coming of age story will feature beautiful 2D animation and appeal to girls young & old. Currently out to voice cast.
Mary O’Hara, a cheeky 12 year old Irish girl, is devastated when her Grandmother, Emer, is admitted to hospital in the middle of the night. Sad and worried, she and her family visit Emer regularly to keep her spirits up. It is after one such visit that she meets a new neighbour, Tansey. She is young, friendly & talkative but keeps disappearing… Even stranger, she says she has an urgent message for Mary’s granny.
When Mary’s mother hears that her daughter has made a new friend, she is curious to meet her and when she does, she is taken aback by Tansey’s distinctive name, explaining that it is the same as Mary’s great grandmother’s. Slowly, pieces of the jigsaw fit together and they realise with shock that Tansey is…a ghost!
Brought together in the most surreal of situations, they pick up Emer and head off on one last glorious adventure. Conversation flows as the four of them take a trip down memory lane, preparing themselves for final goodbyes but warm in the knowledge that life is most definitely amazing and quite often mysterious.
